Since I ran out of my patchwork totes, I thought I better get busy and make a couple more. This is the 1st of two to come. I went with purple on this one because the one I did last year in that colour looked pretty in purple. I did a unique zigzaggy pattern on the sides where the patchwork meets the black base. I thought it turned out kind of cool.
The tote is a mix of purples and with a black base, done in a quilted scrappy patchwork design. It can be used for shopping or even use it as an overnight bag.
The size is approximately 40 cm (16″) wide by (33 cm (13″) tall, and can collaspe down nice and flat when not in use. It has strong wide handles which you can sling on your arm or hang from your shoulder.
There two pockets on the inside; one is a zipper pocket, the other a welt pocket with snap for things such as cell phone or keys. The lining is made of durable broadcloth.
