One thing I have not tried to make yet is a sleeve for a tablet or iPad. I decided to try one today and I think the results turned out not bad. I followed a tutorial on it but of course tweaked it a little with my own ideas lol. I put in some small box corners to deepen it and also to take out a lot of the bulk in the corners. I added a charm to the zipper as a pull, and did the scoop pocket as designed by the lady on the video tutorial.
I also made mine a bit bigger in case someone wanted to use it for a small laptop or a large tablet. The finished size is 12 inches (31 cm) wide by 10 1/2 inches (27 cm) high. The pocket has a magnetic snap on it and there is a lot of room for your charger cords etc.
This one is the first I’ve done. Keep an eye out for more. I am thinking to make them in various sizes and colours.
My next market is the Critters & Crafts market at Drysdale Arena at Evergreen park. They have added another arena as a venue and I will post about where I am to be located once I have more information. Stay tuned…
