There has been a lot of other vendors posting online about the “pile up” of markets happening on the same days. This has caused a lot of scrambling around for us vendors to get our winter schedules nailed down. I finally have mine mostly sorted now.
I am on a waiting list for Sexsmith. It is doubtful to get in, but you never know, I could get the email to attend on the 23rd of November. I was to do another market that day but it was moved to another date. I then applied for yet another market for that day but they have canceled theirs so that day is now open for me.
On top of it all, we are also possibly moving house this month if all goes well, so add packing up the house to the mix. With that I have opted to not take any other markets on other than what is already booked. And I will wait and see regarding the Sexsmith wait list. I will not be booking any other markets.
As it stands right now my schedule is the follows:
- Oct 12/13 (Thanksgiving weekend) – Country Roads RV park pumpkin market
- Oct 19 weekend – off, no markets
- Oct 25/26 – Elks Christmas market
- Nov 2/3 – Wembley Christmas market
- Nov 8/9 – Clairmont Christmas market
- Nov 16 weekend – off, no markets
- Nov 23 – wait list (Sexsmith Christmas market)
- Nov 30 – Royal Canadian Legion Christmas market
- Dec 6/7 – Grovedale Christmas market
