I just thought I would share a couple pics of my new sewing area. As you can see things are still amiss…. or a mess lol!
It is actually better today. I have a lot of the boxes opened and sorted and I actually managed to get some sewing done today. After a couple weeks of not sewing withdrawl sets in lol.
In the room is a large closet and I have opted to use that as my sewing station. The shelves will be handy and since the photos were taken, my husband added another shelf for me. In the one photo you can see my new sewing table with my sewing machine covered on it. It is going to take some time of course to get completely organized. We are moving our modular home in the spring to it’s permanent location so we are keeping many boxes of things packed until that final move is over with. Just packing up the things we can do without over the winter. Also downsizing in the process, which is quite clensing actually.
After the market season is finished, I will hopefully to replentish my dwindling stash of fabric and other supplies. I am still working out a storage area for my fabric, but I am sure it will all come together in the end.
I will update once the room is more set up. It is a challenge, as it is also my sleeping space.
